We were amongst the first to start the ‘old for new’ process with starter motors within our B90 programme over 45 years ago, every part hand restored at our Birmingham, UK factory.

Since then, our ‘ecoreman’ programme has grown to span several of our major product ranges for starters, alternators, air conditioning compressors, diesel pumps and injectors and turbochargers. It has one of the widest ranges in the European automotive aftermarket. 

The list of applications for these parts cover the majority of the European parc and each part will give long and reliable service in the same way as a new Lucas part will. Except, with ecoreman, the earth’s precious resources are spared because although most internal work parts are replaced, parts of the salvaged core and the main casings, unless damaged, are cleaned, refurbished and reused, not thrown away as scrap.

The result is a massively reduced amount of CO2 emitted compared with making new parts.

What’s more, there’s no waiting for your old unit to be remanufactured – we carry large stocks of readily available parts for diesel, turbochargers and rotating machine.
